The short version: KindlyPass does not collect, store, or share your child's personal information. All data you enter into our tools stays on your device. We never see it.

👋 Who We Are

KindlyPass is a parent-built suite of tools designed to help special needs families navigate daily life with more confidence and less stress. We are an independent product created by a special needs parent, for special needs families.

We are not a healthcare provider, a medical organization, or a covered entity under HIPAA. Our tools are informational aids — not clinical or therapeutic services.

📋 What Data We Collect

Our tools — including the KindlyPass restaurant card and KindlySchool IEP sheet — store all data locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. Your child's name, diagnosis, needs, allergies, behaviors, and any other information you enter never leaves your device.

We cannot see it. We cannot access it. We do not transmit it to our servers or any third party.

If you clear your browser's localStorage or switch devices, that data will be gone — because it only ever lived on your device.

👤 Account Information

If you choose to create a KindlyPass account, we store your email address only, via Firebase Authentication (provided by Google). This is used solely for login purposes.

We do not store your child's personal information server-side. Creating an account does not change how your child's data is stored — it still stays on your device.

💳 Payment Information

Payments for KindlyPass subscriptions are processed securely by Stripe, a leading payment processor. We never see, store, or handle your credit card number or billing details. All payment data is managed entirely by Stripe under their privacy policy and PCI compliance standards.

📊 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand anonymous, aggregated usage patterns — for example, how many people visit our site or which pages are most popular. This data is entirely anonymous and aggregated.

Google Analytics does not collect any personal information about you or your child. We use it only to understand how to make KindlyPass better.

🏥 HIPAA

KindlyPass is not a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or healthcare clearinghouse. Our tools are informational aids designed to help parents communicate their child's needs — they are not electronic health records or clinical systems.

🧒 Children's Privacy COPPA

KindlyPass tools are designed for use by parents and caregivers, not by children themselves. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

All information about your child — their name, diagnosis, needs, and any other details — is entered by you as a parent or guardian and stays exclusively on your device. We never receive, store, or process it on our servers.

If you believe a child under 13 has created an account with us, please contact us at support@kindlypass.com and we will promptly delete it.

🗑️ Data Deletion

Because we don't store your child's data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. To remove your child's data, simply clear your browser's localStorage in your browser settings.

To delete your KindlyPass account and associated email address, contact us at support@kindlypass.com and we will remove it promptly.
